Human Memory
Memory is an person's ability to store, retain, and later retrieve certain information. Early studies of memory began in the areas of philosophy and included ways to artificially enhancing memory. Many more things were known about memory in the past, but over time much has been forgotten. Without modern data storage devices, we would know much less about memory than we do now.
Learning To Forget and Unwanted Momory Loss
Later memory was considered to be within the paradigms of cognitive psychology, but today memory is one of the main pillars of the science known as cognitive neuroscience which is an interdisciplinary link between cognitive psychology and neuroscience. There are many that wish to forget things and can't and also those that would like to remember but find themselves unable to control memory recall as they would like to. Life is like that, unfortunitaly.
Alumimum And Memory Loss
Science thinks there may be a link to amounts of aluminum that have been found in the human brain and memory loss and Altzhimers. While some speculate that perhaps it could be from drinking beverages in aluminum cans, no one seems to have clued in on the fact that many baked good contain baking powder and as you might have guessed, it's a form of aluminum...!!! Did we forget about that?
